11-3K viper probe droids were a variant of Viper probe droid used by the Galactic Empire. They were commonly used for investigation, exploration, and reconnaissance. They included a rotating blaster collar assembly and an articulated manipulator with sampling claws. It was more heavily armored than the standard Viper probe droid, and as such was used on remote planets such as Vandor, Koboh and Jedha.
