DLC-13 mining droid

The DLC-13 mining droid, also known as the Mustafar panning droid, droid lava collector or DLC-13 panning droid, was a mining droid used to extract valuable ores from inhospitable environments, like Mustafar and the Belgaroth asteroid field. The droids were made from heat-resistant carbonite.

Following the culmination of the Clone Wars, several DLC-13 droids worked in Mustafar. During a duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader. Vader leapt onto one droid and took control of the droid's steering controls, causing it to drop its collection bucket into the lava below.
