PK-series worker droids were a model of labor droid used by the Trade Federation. During the Invasion of Naboo, a number of PK units were stationed on board the Lucrehulk-class LH-3210 cargo freighter Saak'ak. Following the Battle of Naboo, several PK units were used to clean up leftover battle droids from the site. The Confederacy of Independent Systems later came to use the PK-series for most support functions in their Droid Army. The PK-Ultra worker droid had a similar name and existed by the time of the Resistance. A PK-series named VL-44 served the Resistance as a security droid.
