Helix J-104 starfighter

The Helix J-104 starfighter, simply referred to as the Bounty Hunter Fighter was a class of starfighters used by the Bounty Hunters' Guild after the fall of the Galactic Empire. The bounty hunter Riot Mar used one of the starfighters while pursuing the Mandalorian Din Djarin. Djarin, flying his gunship Razor Crest, maneuvered behind the bounty hunter and destroyed his fighter. The Bounty Hunter Fighter had a flat appearance with a central cockpit, which could fit one pilot and two wings, where an engine was located between them.

The Bounty Hunter Fighter was first teased in the official trailer for Jon Favreau's live-action television series, The Mandalorian. The fighter first appeared in the fifth episode of the show, which was directed by Dave Filoni and aired on December 6, 2019. It was identified in the mobile app Star Wars: Card Trader as part of the set Illustrated Outlaws released on October 4, 2019. Doug Chiang's team looked to the American F-100 Super Sabre jet fighter for inspiration.
